Tell me something precious Saint; DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU'RE ETERNALLY SECURE IN THE LOVE OF GOD? If there were no other verse in the Bible that dealt with eternal security, then these would cover every base. Here we see Paul ransacking the universe to find a single thing, situation, or circumstance that could ever separate you from the love of God. AND HE FOUND NOTHING! Scottish minister, teacher, and author, Dr. David Smith, said that the Apostle Paul, “Conjures; he marshals before him; he names over in all their greatest horror every conceivable trouble which afflicts the soul of man; he calls them up and he passes them in review before him, and he bids them do their worst, and sets them all at defiance.” In other words, NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING will ever separate you and me from God’s eternal, unchanging love!
Somebody says, “What happens when I sin?” Watch this; the mistakes you make and the sins you commit after you have accepted Jesus Christ do not separate you from God’s love. The Holy Spirit will convict you of these sins so you can confess them, repent of them, be forgiven, and then you change your future behavior for your good. BUT YOU WILL NEVERCEASE TO BE GOD’S BELOVED CHILD! So I ask of you: Is this your testimony? Have you been persuaded of these truths, just as Paul was? Can you say, “I no longer have any doubts? I know that my God loves me and He will keep me safe until the very end?”
