We don't have to be in a trying season to be reminded of the firm foundation on which our hope is built: Jesus Christ. It is good, even when things are going well in our life to speak the word of God over ourselves, to plant the seed of the word and water it constantly with prayer so that when we do face difficult seasons, we can rely on that sure foundation.

For those of us that need to be reminded and encouraged of the wonderful, loving and all powerful God in whom we put our trust and for those of us who are on the other side of tasting and seeing that He is good. One thing that remains true for all of us, no matter where we may find ourselves, we need to stay connected to the vine. Read the word, sing the word, speak the word and allow it to be firmly planted in the soil of our hearts.
